Silence or inactivity will not be treated as consent where Hong Kong law requires the individual's consent for direct marketing.

A person may request that their personal data cease to be used for direct marketing, and any such request will be handled without charge where required by the PDPO.

10.6) Hong Kong — Security and Service Providers

Where information collected through cookies constitutes personal data, New kenshi applies reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect it against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, loss, erasure or use.
